Transaction volume is exhibiting a slight increase, whilst inventory levels remain very low. A typical attached freehold home (semi or a row house) doesn’t spend much time on the market: two weeks and it’s been sold.

A strong seller’s market Empty-nesters and first time buyers line up to fight over every semi, it seems. These properties seldom sell under the asking price. Buyers are anxious to compete and win: they want to secure contracts now, before six-figure prices become a thing of the past.
