Timing is everything I sold a condo in October 2016 for $1,545,000. Three months later, in January 2017, an identical suite sold for $1,200,000. And in June 2017, another identical one sold for $1,500,000. These suites had the same layout, the same exposure, the same square footage and the same condition. BRock solid It appears that condominiums actually weathered the storm. The luxury sector, in particular, remained strong. While houses lost value over the summer, condominiums over $1.5 million transacted with multiple offers, as downsizing couples competed with international buyers for prized suites in Toronto’s most coveted buildings.
